Health, Safety and Environment Policy
Safety is of primary importance. PCMC policy defines company commitment to:
- conducting our operations and services in such a way as to protect the safety and health of our employees, our contractors and all those affected by our activities;
- reducing the environmental impact of activities under our control or direct influence;
- continually improving our health, safety and environmental performance.
PCMC goals are to sustain an incident free work environment, no injury, lost work days and work related illnesses.
These goals imply that:
- PCMC management at all levels is responsible and accountable for health and safety matters and for ensuring compliance with this policy statement;
- all employees and contractors remain vigilant and responsible for the safety of the people around them as well as for their own safety.
PCMC will therefore comply with all applicable legislation and relevant industry standards. In the absence of such regulatory controls, PCMC shall set standards consistent with this policy.
This policy shall be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to our business.
